The Roots

Since I was young I have been going backwoods camping with my family and friends, eventually embarking on some solo trips as well. When looking for some outsider advice regarding my first solo trip I realized there isn't a lot of information out there for people just starting to get into backwoods camping, hiking, and canoeing. The goal of this page is to provide the information a person needs on specific outdoors topics; the information that eluded me online when I needed it. I encourage questions and discussions because the great outdoors will always be ready to teach us something new and we can all learn from each other. However, if you sound like a bully, I will delete your comment, because the rest of us go the woods to get away from people like you. Love to all, Em.
